Beta Notice
Thank you for testing Lani. You're using a private beta build delivered through Apple TestFlight. This page explains what that means, what to expect, and what we ask of you.
What "beta" means here
- The app is still being built. You may encounter bugs, unfinished screens, occasional crashes, or features that change between builds.
- We update the build often. When TestFlight notifies you of a new build, please install it — it usually contains a fix for something an earlier tester ran into.
- Some features visible in the app are intentionally limited in beta (for example, the Family Companion App is not yet launched, so any "share with family" surface is a preview only — no recipient receives anything today).
- Notification sounds depend on iOS-controlled settings: the silent switch, Focus modes, ringer volume, and Apple Watch routing all affect whether you hear a reminder. Lani never bypasses any of those.
What we ask of you
- Use Lani at your own pace. There is nothing you have to finish, no streak, no gamification.
- Tell us what works and what doesn't — short notes are more useful than long ones. Email admin@lani.health or use the in-app Send beta feedback action, which automatically attaches your device + build info.
- If something feels off, please don't power through it — write to us.
- You decide what you share with Lani. You can leave any field blank, skip Apple Health, skip Medical ID, and turn off voice mode. Lani still works.
What we promise
- We will not sell your information. We will not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We will not enable family or caregiver sharing without your explicit opt-in, and we will tell you exactly what would be shared and with whom before you opt in.
- We will keep this page, the Privacy Policy, and the Support page current as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of each page tells you when it last changed.
- If we discover a security issue that affected your data, we will tell you promptly and explain what happened.
